The town is governed by a Mayor and Board of Aldermen. The town holds an election for all seats every two years.

Town meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7pm at the Community Center.

The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7pm at the Community Center.
